Open University of Psychology & Philosophy — Program Overview
Open University of Psychology and Open University of Philosophy were created with one purpose:
to make authentic university-level education available to everyone — regardless of location, status, or financial situation.
Both programs are built upon international academic standards used by the world’s leading institutions — including Harvard, Oxford, Yale, and The Open University (UK) — and follow globally recognized educational frameworks:
APA Guidelines 3.0 (American Psychological Association) – defining modern psychology education,
The British Psychological Society (BPS) Core Curriculum – shaping scientific and ethical training,
APA Philosophy Learning Outcomes – setting benchmarks for philosophical education, reasoning, and ethics.
These frameworks are open academic standards, not proprietary content.
They ensure that every student, wherever they live, studies according to the same intellectual and ethical foundations as students at the best universities in the world.
Our mission is not to copy any institution, but to democratize knowledge — to give access to structured, high-quality learning that can change how people understand themselves and the world.
Program Structure and Duration
Open Each program consists of 18 consecutive courses, completed over approximately three years.
Every course lasts 8 weeks and includes about 30 hours of active learning, combining:
concise video lectures,
reading and listening materials,
self-reflection exercises and quizzes,
and a final online exam.
Participants study one course at a time, without overlapping content.
This step-by-step model allows everyone — regardless of background — to complete a full, coherent academic program at their own pace.
